University Of Bristol Year Abroad
Students studying any programme within the departments of Classics, English, History, History of Art or Religion and Theology can normally take the opportunity to spend one semester abroad in their second year of study. Details of the semester of study will be arranged on an individual basis in liaison with the International Officer for your subject. Whilst abroad you will be expected to take the equivalent of 60 credits of study. Some institutions deliver teaching in English but in others students will need to have the necessary language skills.
The University currently has exchange agreements with institutions in the USA, Canada, Australia, South Korea, Singapore and numerous European institutions. Visit our Study and Work Abroad pages to find out where you could spend your semester abroad.
