University Of Bristol Tuition Fees

Studying at University is one of the most significant investments you will ever make and financing your studies may seem daunting at first. Help is at hand; the University will provide all the support you need to take control of your finances.

Tuition fees and living expenses

The two main costs you will face as an undergraduate student are tuition fees and living costs.

Tuition fees for UK and EU undergraduate students starting their first degree in 2017 are £9,250. Tuition fees are likely to increase each subsequent year from 2017 and these increases will be in line with UK Government policy. Eligible UK and EU students can apply for a tuition fee loan from the UK government.

If you are an international (non EU) student or from the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man, your fees will depend upon your course of study.

Living expenses cover everything that you will need to pay for excluding tuition fees and the amount you spend will depend upon your lifestyle choices. As a guide, most students spend between £9,400 and £15,000 per year including accommodation.

Financial help and support

If you have the talent and ability to succeed at Bristol, concerns about funding your studies should not stop you from applying.

The University offers a comprehensive package of financial support to students from low-income backgrounds, in addition to the support provided by the UK government.
