The ERP project is currently developing a new system which will integrate HR, Finance, Payroll and Procurement including the replacement of PIMS.
The HR Information Management System (PIMS) is the main administrative system within Human Resources and the principal source of staff information across the University.
Bristol’s online recruitment and selection system ( eRecruit) allows staff to advertise job vacancies and enables applicants to view full job details and apply for jobs on line.
This application enables staff members (except honorary staff) to view and update their personal information held in PIMS. Access to this application is available via the Staff Info login webpage or through the University Portal.
Note that some information, such as work telephone number and office location, are maintained by the Contact Directory, not PIMS. Staff can request changes to this information from their local Contact Directory administrator.
Honorary staff appointments (with or without academic status) are not maintained by the HR Systems Team but by other authorised PIMS users across the University.
Management information and statistical reports on staff data are produced from PIMS for use across the University and by external organisations.
