NHS 111

NHS 111 is a telephone service that gives confidential healthcare advice and information 24 hours a day. Dial 111 from any landline or mobile, calls are free.

During vacations

During academic holidays we remain open but our opening times vary slightly. Details of vacation opening hours will be posted in our news section.

If you are away from Bristol during the holidays, you can get treatment from a local GP as a temporary patient.

After you graduate

The NHS asks us to remove you from our list of patients following your graduation, unless you notify us that you will be doing postgraduate studies at the University of Bristol.

Register with a new GP as soon as possible after you graduate so that you have ongoing access to GP services. The NHS Choices website can provide information on GP services in your area.

Guide to the Student’s Health Service

We strive to tailor our service for our student population. Read our Practice leaflet (PDF, 78kB) for more information on our service.
