Our initial teacher training is rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted and supplemented by varied placement opportunities with our 600 partner schools. You will also have access to our curriculum centre, which houses more than 30,000 specialist resources for trainee teachers.
Choice of subjects
Our undergraduate courses include primary education, with opportunities to specialise in English or maths, and physical education. At postgraduate level we offer PGCEs in 12 specialist secondary subjects, primary from age three and further education. We also offer the opportunity to achieve Early Years Teacher Status and a range of subjects through the School Direct programme.
Our trainee teachers benefit from excellent employment rates after graduation that are consistently above the sector average. We will also continue to support you after you qualify through our NQT support programme, so you won’t have to start your career on your own.
