Manage your application
Studentcentral is the university’s online learning environment.
You can manage your application to the University of Brighton using the applicant area of studentcentral.
Throughout your time at Brighton you’ll also use studentcentral to manage your studies and access the academic and other resources you need, from wherever you have internet access.
Activate your University of Brighton user account
Before you can log on to studentcentral and the applicant area, you will need to activate your university user account.
When activating your user account, you will be asked for your University of Brighton student number – you will find this in previous emails from us. Once you’ve activated you user account you’ll be given a username and password – be sure to make a note of these as you will not receive email confirmation.
You can reset your password if you have forgotten it. Contact us if you have lost your student number or if you have other questions.
Past and current students
If you’ve previously studied here or are a current student at Brighton, there’s no need to activate your user account – you can simply log in using your current username and password.
Logging on to the applicant area
Visit studentcentral and log on with your university username and password, to access the applicant area.
You can use the applicant area to check the status of your application to us and get updates when it changes.
Log in to the applicant area to:
- track the progress of your application
- respond to your offer
- read and respond to our messages
- check and update your personal details.
Advice for current or past Brighton students
If you are a current or past student of the University of Brighton, you will be able to track and manage your application using your existing University of Brighton username and password. To do this please select the personal tab on studentcentral.
