University of Brighton Internships

Internships offer a great way to get the best out of your graduate recruitment. You get the chance to work with your selected graduate and develop their capabilities during the internship period, with a view to potentially offering them a permanent job.

Our graduates are particularly looking for internships in media, digital marketing, fashion and textiles, and a range of other technical specialisms, as well as roles requiring transferable skills.

If you are a small to medium sized organisation, we may be able to assist you with access to funding to support a paid internship through either our Green Growth, or Santander Internship Programmes.

Santander Internship Programme

Santander Universities, in partnership with the University of Brighton, is offering grants of £1,500 to part-fund internships and support you in creating new jobs.

  • Three months (full-time equivalent) duration
  • £1,500 grant to match-fund salary costs (three instalments of £500)
  • Open to final year students and recent graduates from the University of Brighton
  • Support with advertising and promoting the vacancy

Green Growth Platform

This grant is available to SME companies that either operate in the environmental sectors, or actively aim to reduce their environmental impact.

  • Six weeks (full-time equivalent) duration
  • £1000 grant towards salary costs (payable on completion of the internship period)
  • Support with development of the job specification
  • Support with advertising and promoting the vacancy
