University of Bradford Digital Health Enterprise Zone

The Digital Health Enterprise Zone (DHEZ) is about improving people’s lives and health services through new innovations in digital health and care.

DHEZ helps businesses develop new digital health products and services by providing a physical base and a community that nurtures ideas.

This community of businesses, academics, health professionals and the public, provides an environment where digital health solutions are created, tested and delivered.

The DHEZ is a partnership, led by the University of Bradford, with BT, and City of Bradford MDC. It anchors Leeds City Region as the place in the UK to create, innovate and grow technology-enabled health and care solutions.

Visit the DHEZ Website.

The DHEZ programme is a £13 million partnership led by the University of Bradford and backed by investment from BT, City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council and the UK government.

DHEZ connects people, health and care services, businesses and universities to create the future of care together.

DHEZ participants search for excellence in helping people to prevent and manage long-term conditions such as diabetes, cancer and dementia. This can be done by redesigning services around the individual, or by introducing new products and services underpinned by innovations in computing, communications technology and medical engineering.
