Booking event space
If you are a member of staff organising a University-led event such as a conference, short-course, or public lecture, then the Events and Partnerships team can look at your request in more detail with regard to security, portering, health and safety, University policies etc.
We can look at room availability for you but your event may need approval from the Events team, therefore please visit the Events and Partnerships website for more information on ‘How to apply to run an event‘ and to complete the online event application form.
There are several meeting rooms available to book on city campus, including those in Richmond Building, Norcroft Centre and the Bright Building.
To book a meeting room please email your request with the following information to firstname.lastname@example.org
- start and finish times
- event title
- number of people attending
- type of activity: meeting, lunch, workshop
- your contact details
Alternatively you can download and complete the room booking request form below:
A member of the Timetabling and Attendance Office will then send you confirmation of room(s) booked or contact you, usually within 24 hours, to discuss your requirements further.
If you need to book a room for an activity that is taking place within the next 24 hours you can contact us on 01274 23 4848 between 8am and 5pm.
Cancelling or changing a room booking
It is important that any changes to / cancellations of non-teaching room bookings are made as soon as possible, to allow the room to be re-booked by others.
