It’s an exciting time for Bradford with lots of new bars and restaurants throughout the city. Stumble upon a place you love in the city centre, and chances are there’ll be a few more gems just a couple of steps away.

North Parade – nominated as one of the best high streets in Britain 2015 and is part of the Independent Quarter. Home to bars and cafes including The Record Cafe, where you can expand your vinyl collection while drinking ale and eating charcuterie; Al’s Dime Bar, if you fancy a cocktail with a rock ‘n roll backdrop; and The Sparrow, named by The Guardian as one of the best craft beer bars in Britain.

West End – you don’t have to stray far from the University to enjoy a good evening. Just a short walk away you’ll find Circle nightclub; Brew Haus, serving beer, cocktails, pie and pizza; Tiki-O, for a tropical cocktail experience; and Sir Titus Salt, one of the city centre’s two Wetherspoons pubs.

City Campus area – and you don’t really have to leave campus at all to have a good time. Head to one of the Students’ Unions bars at Student Central; dance the night away at Friday Night Disco; stroll over to friendly pub Delius Lived Next Door; and enjoy some tasty curry at MyLahore or Omar’s – dare you try the giant naan challenge?
