Applied Business Economics (HE4 – 20 credits)
In this module you will learn how economic concepts can be applied to businesses and the business environment. It will show you how to use economics to understand business problems and improve organisational planning and decision making. The module will provide you with an understanding of macroeconomics and its impact on economic policies and strategies applied in national and international contexts.

|Entry requirements||For January 2017 entry, 160 UCAS points from at least one, but preferably two, A2-levels (or equivalent) in any subjects. You should also fulfill the additional entry requirements below (where appropriate).
From September 2017, 64 UCAS points from at least two A2-levels (or equivalent) in any subjects.
You should also have five GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English.
If English is not your first language you will also normally need IELTS 6.0 (or equivalent). If you do not have the required English level, you can study English with us from IELTS 4.0 (or equivalent). Click here to find out more about our English Foundation Programme.
