Nursing Interviews

If your application is shortlisted you may be invited to a Recruitment Open Day where you may also be asked to undertake an interview, depending on the course you’re applying for.

Why do we interview?

Interviews are an important part of the application process, as they enable us to meet you and discuss your reasons for studying your chosen course.

We can ensure you are on the right track, and that the course is suitable for you and your career aspirations. It also enables you to ask us any questions you may have about what will be expected of you during your course.

What to bring

If you come to an interview, please bring your full Record of Achievement, as well as any other specified work such as a portfolio. Be prepared to discuss them with the interviewer.

After the interview

After the interview, if you are considered suitable for the course, you will receive an offer of a place which may be conditional (depending on whether you meet the entry requirements).

The conditions of your offer will vary between courses and even within courses, depending upon evidence of your motivation, commitment and previous academic record. Unsuccessful candidates will be informed at this stage.
