University of Arts London UCAS
UCAS stands for the ‘Universities and Colleges Admissions Service’. They are the organisation responsible for managing applications to higher education courses in the UK.
All Undergraduate Home/EU applicants must apply through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service).
International applicants may choose to apply through UCAS. International applicants may also apply through one of UAL’s representatives within their own country or alternatively apply direct to UAL by completing and submitting a direct application form.
The application process
When you apply through UCAS you are allowed up to five course choices across the UK.
Home/EUapplicants should ensure that your application reaches UCAS by the 15 January 2018 in order to receive equal consideration. Equal consideration means that your application will be considered alongside other applicants who have also met the deadline. If you apply after the 15 January 2018 after the 6pm deadline, you will be considered as a late applicant.
Please note that you may only change your course choice within 14 days of submitting your application. Any course changes will not be permitted after this time. It should also be noted that any changes made to your application after 15 January 2018 will result in the application being marked as late.
Once submitted, you can then follow the progress of your applications through UCAS Track. Your application is automatically sent to the institutions to which you have applied, so you do not need to check with them.
We aim to make decisions on all on time applications made through UCAS by the 30 March 2018. This is not always possible if the course attracts a large number of applicants. If you apply after the 15 January 2018, your application will not be reviewed until after those that met the 15 January deadline.
International applicants should not worry about missing the January deadline, as we will continue to accept applications from International students until later in the year. The final deadline is 29 June. Don’t leave it too late though because if you do get an offer of a place, you’ll still need to arrange a visa and your accommodation.
