UAL offers a wide range of scholarships, bursaries, awards and hardship funds provided through generous donations from individuals, companies and philanthropic charities, as well as from University funds.

UAL Vice-Chancellor’s Postgraduate Scholarships

We’ve committed over £1million worth of funding to reduce the costs of postgraduate study for up to 180 students looking to start their full-time masters course in 2017/18.

UAL’s Vice-Chancellor’s Postgraduate Scholarships offer a 50% tuition fee remission for eligible Home/EU applicants. For international applicants, two types of scholarships are available. One offers a £5,000 tuition fee remission, and the other a £25,000 award and accommodation generously provided by International Students House (ISH).

We have two types of UAL Vice-Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Scholarships on offer, each with different eligibility criteria. One offers a £5,000 tuition fee remission, and the other a £25,000 award and accommodation generously provided by International Students House (ISH).

Partial tuition fee remission award

25 scholarships are available to applicants meeting eligibility criteria. A scholarship provides a £5,000 tuition fee remission for a full-time taught masters course at one of UAL’s six Colleges starting in the academic year of 2017/18.

£25,000 Scholarship and International Students House Accommodation Award

Up to eight scholarships are available to applicants meeting eligibility criteria. A scholarship provides a £25,000 award to cover tuition fee charges and make a contribution towards living costs. Scholarship recipients will also be offered accommodation at International Students House (ISH) for the duration of their study (daily breakfast included).
