Universities and Colleges in the UK (listed Bodies)
Listed bodies can’t award degrees themselves. If you study a degree course at a listed body, your degree will be awarded by a recognised body.
ExampleIf you studied for a foundation degree in Early Years at Aylesbury College, your degree would be awarded by Buckinghamshire New University.
If your degree isn’t from an officially recognised UK university or college, there’s no guarantee it’ll count when you’re looking for a job.
The lists of recognised bodies, listed bodies and recognised awards are not guaranteed to always be up to date.
If your university or college isn’t listed, contact the Department for Education to check that they’re officially recognised.
