UE Gym Classes (Cardio/Hi-intensity)

Get your heart pumping and muscles burning with our high intensity classes. With the added benefit of burning calories long after the class is finished. Great for those who enjoy a challenge!

Cardio/Hi-intensity classes include:

Les Mills – Body Attack

A high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. A LES MILLS™ instructor will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout – challenging your limits in a good way

Les Mills – Body Combat

BODYCOMBAT™ is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. o experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ. Bring your best fighter attitude and leave inhibitions at the door.

Circuits

A great, fun and high-energy class, which can be enjoyed by all. Graded options at each station allow you to work at your own level and structured format assures fitness gains.

BeachBody Live – Insanity

A cardio session mixing elements such as endurance, strength and agility to help you reach your fitness goals.

Six Pack Attack

An intensive total abdominal workout.

HiiT

High-intensity interval sessions uses bursts of activity and short rests to choose maximum results. If this sounds good to you, HiiT up this class!

Active for Life Fitness

Active for Life classes are suitable for those who are new, returning to exercise or for the active older adult.

An all-round exercise to music class paced for the older adult to improve stamina, strength, endurance and flexibility.  These classes are available as pay per class drop-in options for non-members.

Duration: 60 minutes

Active for Life Circuits

Active for Life classes are suitable for those who are new, returning to exercise or for the active older adult.

A circuit class specifically designed for a wide range of participants. Incorporating both an aerobic and endurance workout to tone the body.  These classes are available as pay per class drop-in options for non-members.
