Teesside University Wifi
The University Wi-Fi network (known as eduroam) is available campus wide. The eduroam wireless network has the added benefit of enabling members of participating UK Higher Education Institutions to authenticate at other institutions in order to gain access to services.
This facility offered to visiting staff and students will vary from institution to institution but will include at least access to the World Wide Web.
Visitors will usually be able to access eduroam facilities via a wireless connection using their own wireless devices. Some sites may also have the facility for users to access this service from a wired connection, this is not available at Teesside.
Advice for using eduroam at other institutions
- Register for eduroam at Teesside before visiting an offsite institution.
- If you have a problem using eduroam at another institution, you should contact IT Services
To access eduroam all you require is a compatible mobile device (e.g. laptop) and an active Teesside University student, staff or associate account.
If you are a visitor to the University, please ensure that you’ve registered for eduroam at your own institution first, before you arrive on campus.
For more information and quick connection guides, please visit the eduroam section of the IT Help Centre .
Opening hours: Mon – Fri, 08:30am – 17:00pm.
