Teesside University IT, Enjoy technology that meets your needs – from Macs for high-end design to high-tech workstations for complex visualisation and software development. There are more than 2,700 workstations on campus.
The University WiFi network, known as eduroam, is available campus-wide to all students, researchers and staff.
To access eduroam all you require is a compatible mobile device (such as a smartphone or a laptop) and an active Teesside University student, staff or associate account.
Login to a computer
Only Teesside University students and staff can login to use the University’s computers on campus. You need your IT account username and password to do this.
Your email account
All University correspondence is sent to your University email account, including important Library notices.
You must check your University mailbox regularly – if your mailbox gets too full you may not be able to receive new messages. Emails will not be re-sent if delivery fails – this might mean you miss important emails including Library overdue or courtesy notices or information about a reservation or inter library loan.
All new students enrolling on a University programme are given a student email account.
E-Learning@Tees is the University’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Here you can access important course and module information such as reading lists, discussion boards, assignment details, grades, lecture notes and important notifications.
