Teesside University Induction

Introduction to computer systems

Thank you for choosing to study at Teesside University. Our computer systems will play an integral part in your learning so we have produced an induction to introduce you to our current range of services and how to use them.

We have five academic Schools and in each there are technical staff to provide you with support. Our Library also offers support.

Students on full-time undergraduate degree courses need to register online on e-Vision – your user name and password will be posted to you in late August. You will need to complete this online registration before your school enrolment event. All other students will be informed of their enrolment procedure by post. Login to e-vision

Teesside University Smart Card (TUSC)

We will provide you with a smart card containing your University ID. With this you can loan books from the Library. It also gives you access to buildings, car parks and printer/copiers.

University Wifi network

The University WiFi network, known as eduroam (education roaming), is available campus wide to all students, researchers and staff. The eduroam wireless network has the added benefit of enabling students, researchers and staff to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions.

To access eduroam all you require is a compatible mobile device (e.g. laptop) and an active Teesside University student, staff or associate account.
