Queen University Belfast International Fees 2018/19

International tuition fees

Queen’s offers lower tuition fees and living expenses than many other similarly well-regarded universities in the United Kingdom. The fees you will pay will vary depending on the course you choose and the level of study.

The tuition fees payable by international students are based on the student’s first year of registration and are listed below for undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students. Exceptions to the standard fees are listed separately.

In addition, the fee rate will depend on the following classifications:

Fee Rate 1 (FR1): Courses which are essentially classroom based
Fee Rate 2 (FR2): Courses with a substantial laboratory or workshop component
Fee Rate 3 (FR3): Pre-Clinical elements of medical courses
Fee Rate 4 (FR4): Clinical elements of medical courses
BDS Dentistry: Composite fee per annum over 5 years

Tuition Fee Payment Options

The options for paying tuition fees and charges for the academic year 2016-17 are summarised in the table below. Students must ensure they have made the necessary arrangements to pay their tuition fees and charges at enrolment and registration. These payment options are set out in more detail at the following link: Link to payment options.

The overarching principle, regarding the payment of tuition fees, and other associated charges, is that the student remains liable for the payment.  If the student loan or sponsorship arrangements do not subsequently provide funding, the student will be required to pay all fees and charges personally.

Please note the 25% of Tuition Fees are Non-Refundable following enrolment

Students whose personal contribution is £250 or less will be required to pay in full on enrolment.

Options Notes
Pay tuition fees in full at enrolment Tuition fees can be paid online via a student’s Qsis Account, by cheque, credit/debit card or bank transfer
