The Undergraduate Open Day at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) can attract over 10,000 visitors.

QMUL is based in Mile End, the heart of East London, only minutes from central London. Transport links are fantastic, so you should have plenty of options when planning your journey.

Travel information


The nearest stations on the London Underground are Mile End on Hammersmith and City, District and Central lines; and Stepney Green on the Hammersmith and City and District lines. Both stations are just 5 minutes’ walk from our campus.

Bow Church DLR station is a 20 minute walk away.

QMUL is based on Mile End Road , on the 25 and 205 bus routes, with a stop right outside the campus.


Car parking for visitors is not offered on our campus and we strongly advise visitors to use public transport when getting to us. Local parking restrictions also apply on weekdays and weekends.
