The People’s Palace at Queen Mary, University of London is home to the unique art-deco venue – The Great Hall. Located in the heart of east London and originally opened in the 1930s, the Great Hall has seen the likes of the Rolling Stones grace its stage, which is one of the largest in London.

London Underground

The Great Hall is situated between two London underground stations:

  • Mile End – served by the Central, District and Hammersmith and City lines
  • Stepney Green – served by the District and Hammersmith and City lines

Docklands Light Railway (DLR)

The nearest Docklands Light Railway (DLR) stations to the Great Hall are:

There are several bus routes within five minutes walk of QM:

  • 25 Stratford to Oxford Circus (24 hours)
