The Discover Brookes summer school is completely free to participants and includes accommodation and food and transport. Depending on where you live, it may be possible to travel by pre-arranged coach, otherwise you will get your travel reimbursed.
Participants stay in University halls of residence and get a taster of student life.

How to apply
Please download an application form below. The closing date for all summer schools is 10 days before they take place. We strongly encourage you to apply earlier, as places are filling up quickly and you may not able able to secure a place.
There is one application form for all summer schools. Please make sure to tick the summer school you would like to attend. You can tick up to two options. Please number them so that we know which one is your first choice.
How to fill in the form
Please fill in your personal details and make sure to tick the right box for which summer school you would like to take part in. You can tick up to two boxes, in case you have a back-up choice.
The most important part is to tell us a little bit about you and why you would like to take part in the summer school. We want to make sure that the summer school programme works for you, so let us know what you would like to learn or get out of the summer school.
The last page must be filled out and signed by your parent or guardian. You cannot apply to the summer school without their consent.
You can either print and sent the form to us to the address on the last page, or you can scan it and email it to us.
What happens next?
We will get in touch with you to confirm the confirmation of your application. We will then also let you know when by when we can confirm if you have a place on the summer school (usually within two weeks of your application). If your application was successful, you will then receive more detailed information about timetables, transport and more.
In the meantime, feel free to get in touch with us at any time if you or your parents have any questions.
