Occupational therapy (OT) is concerned with enhancing the daily lives of people with a very broad range of physical, mental health and social needs. As an occupational therapist you will work with people of all ages, to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
Our highly popular OT degree will equip you with the skills required to practise as a competent occupational therapist in a wide variety of health and social care environments.

  • This course offers an enquiry based approach to learning. It involves the integration of occupational therapy theory, practice, and components of the biological, behavioural, social and medical sciences. You will learn to critically assess the living skills and occupations of clients in order to enhance their performance within their unique environments. You will develop the technical, practical, managerial and communication skills necessary to enter practice as a qualified occupational therapist.
If you already have a relevant bachelor’s degree (2.2 or above) and would like to pursue occupational therapy as a career, we are pleased to offer a pre-registration master’s course.
