  • For a postgraduate taught degree: Completing a University Bachelor’s degree in Japan or other country with an good grade (equivalent to a UK honours degree)
  • For the MBA, you must also have 3 years professional work placement experience
  • For a postgraduate research degree: a postgraduate master’s degree or good honours bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
  • From IELTS 6.0 to 7.0, with 6.0 in reading and writing, and 5.5 in listening and speaking
  • Pre-sessional University English

** Entry requirements vary depending on the course you are applying for. Equivalent academic qualifications can be accepted and we are happy to consider applicants on a case by case basis.

* For our Pre-sessional University English and 1 year foundation courses you must take a IELTS for UKVI test at a UKVI approved test centre. For other courses we can accept any academic IELTS test and some alternative English qualifications. For further information visit our
