Basketball has a proud tradition at Brookes with teams competing in both BUCS and the National League.

For the more casual player, shoot a hoop at the Headington sports centre and look out for our 3v3 Saturday night basketball.

Women’s 1st Team

Our Women’s Team compete in the Premier South. the team is coached by National League Coach of the Year 2017, Zach Meekings.

Many of the team also play in National League South-West Division along with other local players. Follow their progress this season

Men’s 1st Team

Our Men’s 1sts compete in Midlands Conference 1A.

The team is coached by former GB and England international and two-time National League Division 4 Coach of the Year, Ken Walton and offers players the chance to represent the National League team. Follow their progress this season

Men’s 2nd Team

Our Men’s 2nds compete in Midlands Conference 4A. Follow their progress this season

National League

Our National League Men’s team competes in Division 3 South, having gone undefeated in to win both Division 4 South West for the second successive year, as well as the Division 4 Playoffs in 2015.

Under Head Coach Ken Walton (former England captain and Division 4 South West Coach of the Year in 2014 and 2015), the team has reached three consecutive National Shield semi-finals (including the 2014 final). The team has also produced two Division 4 MVPs, as well as the Finals MVP in 2015.
