Norwich University of the Arts Bursary
To maximise support from students from under-represented backgrounds, the University will provide additional financial support.
This bursary scheme applies to undergraduate entrants starting in 2017. In 2017-18 the University will offer a bursary of £1,000 per annum to new entrants if household income is assessed at £25,000 or less. The University will also offer a bursary of £500 per annum to new entrants if household income is assessed as £25,001 to £42,875. The bursary will be payable in February 2018. Students who withdraw prior to 1 February 2018, or who are not in regular attendance at this date, will not receive the bursary payment.
The University’s Access Agreement sets out our commitments to ensure fair access and student success for students from under-represented backgrounds, through outreach work, financial and other kinds of student support.

The Sir Philip Reckitt Educational Trust (SPRET)
The Sir Philip Reckitt Educational Trust (SPRET), a registered charity, was established in 1944 by the late Sir Philip Reckitt. Sir Philip was a former Chairman of Reckitt and Sons Ltd who had a keen interest in educational development particularly for the benefit of his employees. The trust offer grants to students resident in Norfolk in the forms of contributions towards the cost of travel, residence, attendance at conferences, lectures and educational courses. Anguish’s Educational Foundation
The foundation offers grants to students aged 24 or under who are residents of Norwich or the Norfolk Parishes of Costessey, Hellesdon, Catton, Sprowston, Thorpe St Andrew and Corpusty. Applicants must be on a low income and grants are awarded to contribute to the cost of books, equipment, travel and university students from low income families can apply for a grant of £1,000. Winston Churchill Memorial Trust
The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust was established after the death of Sir Winston Churchill in 1965. Out of a mark of respect and to provide a living memorial to the former Prime Minister, donations were received to establish a fund that could benefit future generations of British people. This fund now supports 100 Travelling Fellowships per year and fellowships are awarded for a wide range of projects.
A Fellow must travel overseas for between 4-8 weeks and report back to their communities or disseminate the information obtained through their travels to inform others. Past award winners include artists, scientists, engineers, conservationists, craft workers, artisans and any UK citizen over the age of 18 can apply.

People under the age of 25 who are being educated or live within five miles of Norwich City Hall. Grants given towards the costs of books, equipment/instruments, fees, maintenance/living expenses, childcare, and study or travel abroad. Grants up to £2,000, and interest-free loans also available.
The Royal Photographic Society Postgraduate Bursary
The Society offers an annual bursary of £3,500 in support of a postgraduate student studying in the UK or abroad. Entries can include digital and traditional photographic media, the art and science of photography and image based written work. Find out more on the RPS website.
