Wednesday 15th February
Saturday 25th February
Saturday 11th March

Applicant Visit Days

There are various opportunities for you to come and see us, both before or after you apply.

We invite all our applicants to visit us for an open day where you will:

  • attend a talk from an admissions tutor about the degree scheme you have applied for
  • look around the Lancaster Environment Centre
  • take part in scientific taster sessions based on degree material
  • tour the Lancaster University campus
  • see our award-winning student accommodation

Teaching staff and current students will be with you during the visit and we welcome questions on any aspect of degrees, university life and the application process. Your parents are very welcome to attend the Visit Day with you.

Lancaster University Open Days

As well as our department Visit Days, Lancaster University holds annual campus-wide Open Days between June and September, when you can meet staff and listen to talks about the degrees that we offer. You can also attend a Campus Tour. These are held on many Wednesday afternoons throughout the year, and there is the opportunity to arrange a drop-in session with admissions staff from LEC.

If you’re visiting us on a University Open Day in summer 2015, we run a wide range of demonstrations and other activities in the department. Our welcome flyer provides more details on the activities we have planned.
