About

The Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education is a joint enterprise of Kingston University and St George’s, University of London.

As one of the leading providers of health, social care and education courses and training in the United Kingdom, we’re proud to be playing a pivotal role in shaping the future workforce for London.

With more than 7000 students across three south west London campuses, we offer courses in education, nursing, midwifery and child health, paramedic science, radiography, rehabilitation sciences, and social work; as well as range of workforce development modules programmes.

We work closely with employers to continually develop our portfolio of courses and our research and enterprise activities. Operating in a climate of continuing change, we respond proactively and innovatively to new health, social care and education policy initiatives to deliver programmes that are at the cutting-edge of professional development.

Kingston University’s teaching is frequently rated as among the best in the UK.

According to The Times, “Kingston remains one of the best deals in higher education. Its record on teaching quality puts it in the vanguard of the modern university sector and is a match for many older institutions. Students have caught on and now more apply to Kingston than to any other London-based university.” (The Sunday Times, September 2007).
