King’s Libraries

As a full-time student of the ELC, you have access to all the libraries King’s has on its campuses. We encourage you to use these and to take advantage of the over 800,000+ volumes and subscriptions that King’s has. For finding your way around King’s, libraries sometimes come under the heading of ‘Information Services & Systems’ (ISS), and sometimes under the heading of ‘Information Services Centres & Libraries’. See  for more information. Most students will use an electronic search first before they go to the library

Local Libraries

Information on local public libraries (i.e. state funded libraries with no connection to King’s College) which you could either join or use for reference purposes can be found at:

University of London Library

As well as King’s own libraries, you are entitled to use the University of London library:
Senate House
Malet Street

To register and obtain a ticket, students need to take their College ID to the library. For other information, including opening hours, consult their website
