What is a VPN?
A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is used to add security and privacy when using the internet to access information either from home wifi or wifi hotspots.
Can I use the VPN at Keele?
If you are a member of staff or a research postgraduate you can have access to the VPN
What is the benefit of using the VPN?
You will be able to access your network drives once connected to the VPN and any services which are restricted to on campus only
How can I get access to the VPN?
Just complete the form (restricted to Keele users only) and the IT Service Desk will send you details of how to connect.
It is best to do the set up whilst at Keele so that if you have any problems the IT Service Desk team can assist you.
