NEWS UPDATE – WEDNESDAY 17th MAY 2017
For everything ‘graduation’ download our NEW Guide to Graduation PDF
All graduation invitations were emailed on Friday 7th April 2017 and included the date and time of your ceremony. If you have not received your email please contact the Graduation Office on 01782 734206 or email email@example.com. All Ceremonies will be held between Tuesday 11th and Friday 14th July.
We strongly advise that graduands and their guests only consider making travel or accommodation plans once their date and time has been confirmed via their e-invitation. To be eligible to attend all graduands must be successful in their course with an award approved by the University’s Senate prior to the date of their Graduation Ceremony.
Please ensure your personal (non-Keele) e-mail address is up to date to enable you to receive your Graduation invitation and other important information around the graduation process. To do this, please log into your eVision account at https://scims.keele.ac.uk/ and check your current personal email address is recorded.
Should you need further assistance please contact the Graduation Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
On the Day
We hold all graduation ceremonies in the University Chapel. This provides an attractive setting for your special day. Your email invitation will notify you of the specific date and time of your ceremony. Please ensure that you take your seat in the Chapel 15 minutes before the scheduled start. We will not admit anyone after the ceremony begins. If you know you are going to arrive late, please telephone 01782 734206 so that the event organisers are made aware and may be able to make alternative arrangements.
Please ensure you arrive 2 hours before your ceremony time and report to K2 in the Students’ Union to collect your tickets and gown. Tickets are free of charge.
Due to seating capacity within the chapel we can cater for two of your four guests’ tickets, however we are unable to honour requests for further chapel seating. There is a link up room on campus which will live stream all ceremonies for which two of your guests will have seats for.
Further guests are welcome to join us in celebrating your day, however, please be aware we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate additional guests with seating. Please note: all ceremonies are live streamed on screens across campus throughout the day.
