The Weekend MBA allows you to accelerate and develop your career, balancing studying at Imperial in London in your spare time with a demanding job.

About the course


This programme starts in April and lasts 21 months.

First year attendance is held over one long weekend a month from April to January (Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning).

The second year includes varied attendance based on choice of electives, the Global Experience Week and a final project.

Attendance requirements vary, depending on which electives are chosen. There are a total of 24 attendance days during the electives.

An important aspect of the Weekend MBA Programme is that students are expected to work effectively as a member of a syndicate group comprising five to six students.  The work carried out by the syndicate contributes to the assessed coursework requirements.

The Entrepreneurial Journey is an optional module that can be taken instead of one elective. It is a live entrepreneurial experience that provides insights into the challenges of introducing products and services to market.


The final project is an independent report on a relevant theme, where you will demonstrate that you are able to address a specific theme in an autonomous way and bring together your learning across different subjects.
