International Applicants

Every year the Department of Physics receives many applications from countries all over the world.  Entry is highly competitive but we are happy to consider any applicant who can demonstrate high achievement in Mathematics and Physics in a wide range of international qualifications.  For international applicants located in the UK and Europe, we will invite you to attend an interview in London if your application is considered strong.  We also prefer to interview applicants from further afield if at all possible but recognise that travelling to the UK is not possible for many.  For those not able to attend an interview we will assess your suitability based solely on the information in your UCAS application.

If you have submitted a UCAS application and know that you will be visiting the UK between late October and early March please let us know by sending an email to ph.admissions@imperial.uk quoting your UCAS ID and we will be happy to arrange a visit to the Department and an interview that fits with your plans, provided that your application is competitive.
