This course of study is ideal for those wishing to pursue a career in Accountancy. The course covers all aspects of double entry book keeping from day books through to the trial balance. On completion of the Level 2 you will be able to progress onto the intermediate Level 3 Accounting (AAT) course or take up employment in the industry.

All Accounting units are achieved via a Computer Based Assessment (CBA).

You will be required to complete an interview with the course tutor.

Entry Requirements

No formal academic qualifications are required but candidates will benefit from practical experience in book keeping, computerised accounts, payroll or administration. AAT Diploma in Accounting

Level 4 / Part Time

All units are assessed by a Computer based assessment (CBA). The course covers all aspects of presenting financial reports and budgets for large companies. This course of study is ideal for those wishing to pursue a career in Accountancy or continue on to further accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA.

Units: Budgeting Create appropriate budgets for a wide range of activities and circumstances; to agree the budgets for a wide range of activities and circumstances; to agree budgets with functional managers; to monitor results against budgets and to trigger management interventionFinancial Performance Calculating and measuring financial performance in every organisation. Entry Requirements

Students must hold an AAT Level 3 Accounts qualification. Entrants at this level must have a full understanding of the Trial Balance, Adjustments, Sole Trader and Partnership Final Accounts and Cost Accounting. All applicants require an informal interview with a member of the teaching team.
