Heriot-watt University Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree aims to develop students’ understanding of the area of Business Administration and Management and develop practical skills appropriate for careers in this area. Theory and practice are given equal emphasis to give a holistic understanding of the role of Business Administration as well as knowledge of and skills associated with business start-up, growth and innovation.

Entry requirements

Year 1

  • Highers AAAB
  • A-Levels BBB
  • HNC B in a graded unit
  • Int. Baccalaureate 29 points
  • Additional information Standard Grade / Intermediate 2 / National 5 / GCSE English and Mathematics are required for all Business Management programmes.

Year 2

  • A-Levels ABB in relevant subjects.
  • Advanced Highers BB in relevant subjects, plus AAAB at Higher.
  • HNC Relevant HNC. Entry to second year will be considered for exceptional candidates.
  • HND BB in graded units, relevant HND.
  • Int. Baccalaureate 34 points

Year 3

  • HND Relevant HND. Entry to Level 3 will be considered for exceptional candidates.
