About the Library
The Bamford Library provides a wide range of learning resources and services, including:
- Access to about 40,000 books, over 700 e-books, nearly 2000 print journals, over 50,000 online journals and the most relevant databases for your course.
- Group study rooms and 2 silent study rooms.
- Group and one-to-one tutorials on finding and using resources.
- Help with any queries.
- Dedicated librarians to help you get the most out of the resources.
The building itself is an award winning example of sustainable design and is named after Sir Anthony Bamford, chairman of JCB and sponsor of the Engineering Design Centre housed within the library complex.
This key building is located at the heart of the campus. Check our Travel Information page for directions to Harper Adams and campus plans.
Noise in the library should be kept to a minimum. If you are having issues with noise you can report it at the Welcome Hub, or anonymously via this online form.
Please give us a brief description of where the noise is located and a member of staff will endeavour to help.
