Alternative types of application
Some types of applications have a different process for applying:
- Part-time students
You apply direct to Goldsmiths. To apply for one of our part-time programmes, click on the ‘Apply now’ button on the relevant course page. We’ll be considering part-time applications up to 31 July.
- Exchange students
If your university has an official exchange agreement with Goldsmiths, you can apply through your home university as an exchange student. Our Study Abroad programme has details of courses available to exchange students.
- Deferred entry
If you’re considering applying for deferred entry, please contact the Admissions Office. Most departments recognise the value of a gap year between school and university, but some are not able to accept these applications because of the demand for their degrees.
If you’ve started another University and not enjoyed the experience, we still may be able to fit you in at Goldsmiths. This will depend on the timing of your application to transfer and the A-level, BTEC grades you’ve achieved. To talk bout transferring, contact our Admissions Office at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re also happy to consider applications for entry to the second year of study for most of our courses. For direct entry to the second year, we would normally expect you to achieve at least 55-60% overall in the first-year modules of a comparable course at another institution. We’ll review your GCSE and A-level grades for suitability also so please have these before you contact us. Find out more about how to apply as a transfer student.
