2012 enrollment extended at Glyndŵr University

The university has places remaining on a range of courses and is encouraging applicants to act now to take advantage of the opportunity to start straight away.

Adam Fuller, the university’s student president said: “By extending the period to enrol we are offering people the chance to take the fast track and get their university life started more quickly than they might have expected.

“Those who may have decided against taking a course in August can now consider if that was the right decision, and take a fresh look at the prospect of studying at Glyndŵr University in 2012.

“Whatever the reason for missing out earlier in the year, the key point is it’s not too late.

“Students can join a wide range of courses including our business, creative industries, sport and exercise science and engineering degrees. New students joining at this point will be welcomed through a special induction process to make sure they will have the same opportunities as other students to get involved in all aspects of university life.

“New students joining at this point will be welcomed through a special induction process. They will have the same opportunities as other students to get involved in all aspects of university life, including the thriving social scene and clubs and societies.

“We also have a range of high-quality student accommodation available on flexible terms.”

Head of partnerships, recruitment and admissions Julie Cowley said: “We are contacting schools and colleges across the region to make them aware of this opportunity.

“A number of incentives will be available to help students joining us now to settle in to university life, and special teams of staff will be on hand to ensure they have the best possible opportunity to succeed.”
