Lecture recording (ECHO 360)

Service Status: Available

Description of Service:

Lecture Recording is available in a number of teaching spaces. This can later be played back by students and staff on demand.

Entitlement:

These services may be used by any member of staff who has booked a teaching space equipped with Echo-360 equipment.

Service Adoption:

Booking for Timetabled teaching:
Lecture recording is scheduled as part of work carried out by school timetabling staff in the annual timetable preparation during February to April each year. “Lecture Recording” must be selected as a ‘feature’ on any event where this is required. A contact must be provided for each event.

Booking for non-teaching events:
In the Room Booking form ,select ‘Event Recording/Echo 360’ in ‘Features’ or inform your Local Space Manager if appropriate. Then, submit your recording booking no later than 5 days before the event using the Lecture Recording Request form.

Customer Obligations:

All users must comply with the Lecture Recording Policy approved by Senate and Court.

Service Availability:

24x7x52 with occasional downtime for maintenance.
