BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying

BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying is one of the leading quantity surveying courses in the UK.You can study part-time while continuing your position as trainee quantity surveyor or trainee estimator.GCU partners from UK and global construction and building projects come into the teaching environment giving guest lectures and sharing practical case studies. You will work alongside industry leaders and peers from other leading Scottish universities on competitions such as the Interact design project.

Graduates from GCU go on to become Chartered Surveyors, Civil Engineers and business leaders. Accredited by world-renowned industry bodies; the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), you can access graduate membership and have the option to progress to masters level study and Chartered status.

Minimum Entry Requirements

Minimum of BBC at SQA Higher
Year 2
SQA HNC Quantity Surveying or Built Environment subject with B in the Graded Unit.
Year 3

SQA HNC Quantity Surveying or Built Environment subject with B in the Graded Unit and minimum of 2 years work experience.

Or SQA HND Quantity Surveying with B in the Graded Unit.

Employment Requirements
Applicants to the part-time programme must be in suitable full-time employment as a trainee Quantity Surveyor or Estimator and be supervised by more senior staff within the organisation.
