Falmouth University NCS

NCS is an inclusive, part-residential programme for year 11 and year 12 students that takes place in the spring, summer and autumn. In teams of around 15 young people, you’ll be joined by leaders and mentors for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that pushes you to unlock your full potential.

NCS is split into three phases:

Phase 1: Adventure
Spend time experiencing the freedom of life away from home at one of our fantastic outdoor activity centres. Take on new challenges and learn to defy your limits as you live fearlessly to uncover a new you! We believe that life begins outside of your comfort zone and this phase aims to prove just that.

Phase 2: Discovery
Next you’ll be reunited with your team working together to learn essential life skills. Take part in workshops and sessions designed to prepare you for the real world. Create your very own business plan, get creative, discover new talents and get a killer CV.

Phase 3: Social Action
Put your new skills to the test; design and implement a social action project to instigate change in your local community. Find a cause that you’re passionate about and work with your team to prove that you can make a difference.

Phase 4: Graduation

At the end of phase 3, join other teams from the region to celebrate your achievements at our prestigious graduation ceremony!
