Falmouth University Health and Safety
The following health and safety information is specific to the named locations across Penryn Campus. Please familiarise yourself with the information relating to the building where your event/meeting will be held as details vary across different buildings. If you are using multiple locations it is your responsibility to ensure that you are fully aware of the safety procedures for each area being used.
Risks assessments are also your responsibility and a template form can be found below.
The event safety procedure documents highlight important information on:
- fire and what to do in the event of an alarm
- first aid
- building plans detailing key areas.
Students can see a doctor at the Penryn Campus, or if you live in Falmouth, you can register at a nearby surgery.
To see the doctor at the Student Health Centre at the Penryn Campus, you need to register with the Penryn Surgery first, and then book an appointment. To make an appointment, contact Penryn Surgery on 01326 372502, stating that you are a student at Falmouth.
Don’t wait until you are unwell to register, it’s better that a doctor has access to your full history when they see you.
