Falmouth University Head of Marketing, The Department upholds standards in relation to the Falmouth University brand. This encompasses the visual appearance of marketing and information materials, tone of voice, key messages, customer service standards, the physical environment and any other aspect of Falmouth University business that impacts on how people see us.

I am currently the International Marketing Manager at Falmouth University where my successful marketing activity over three years has seen the University’s applications from European students exceed targets and possible predicted growth.

A marketing specialist with 15 years experience in marketing, implementing strategic and tactical marketing plans and achieving challenging objectives. With a strong track record of success within tourism marketing and international student recruitment, with experience of developing and implementing far reaching marketing strategies, establishing brands and gaining results.

Starting at Helpful Holidays, spanning the south west, I managed the PR and marketing, going on to work for Cornwall and Devon Tourist boards, successfully working to increase overseas visitors to the regions.

In 2007 I successfully managed the Cornwall airport launch and development of new branding for Newquay Airport, establishing flight routes with British Airways, Air South-West, Flybe, BMI Baby and Ryanair.

With experience of developing and implementing marketing strategies, while managing marketing teams for large tour operators such as Viking River Cruises and Inghams Ski & Lakes and Mountains, I have a strong track record of success within travel and tourism marketing.

My hospitality experience includes managing the sales and marketing for von Essen Hotels in the South West, including Fowey Hall and Lewtrenchard Manor; the Richardson Hotel Group and The Cornwall Hotel, Spa and Estate.

Expertise: Digital strategy, strategic marketing development and implementation, project management including website development, website content, online campaigns, social media content, PPC, SEO, direct mail and creative campaign development.
