Craiglockhart Campus
Home to the Business School, Craiglockhart campus blends the old and the new. Set within attractive grounds overlooking Edinburgh, facilities include 200- and 400-seat lecture theatres and language and multimedia labs. It’s also home to our innovation and enterprise centre.
Our architecturally stunning Craiglockhart campus is home to the Business School. Beautifully merging the old with the new, the iconic Lindsay Stewart lecture theatre sits comfortably alongside the original building with Wester Craiglockhart Hill as a backdrop.

Merchiston Campus
Engineering and built environment, computing and creative industries students are based at Merchiston. Here you’ll find the Jack Kilby Computing Centre, the Edinburgh Napier Students’ Association, a computer games lab, newsroom, TV, radio and photography studios and soundproofed industry-standard music studios.
Our Merchiston campus is situated in the heart of Edinburgh and is home to three schools:
- The School of Arts & Creative Industries
- The School of Computing
- The School of Engineering & the Built Environment
This mix of disciplines helps create an inspiring, innovative and collaborative atmosphere. This is enhanced by facilities from cutting-edge cyber security labs to TV and film studios. In addition, Merchiston boasts a business incubator, two cafes and a 500-seat computing centre, with both Mac and PC hardware, that is open round-the-clock in Trimesters 1 and 2.
Merchiston is also home to the Edinburgh Napier Students’ Association. We also have rehearsal and performance spaces in a converted church just around the corner in nearby Morningside.

Sighthill Campus
Our Sighthill campus serves more than 5,000 students and staff of the School of Applied Sciences and the School of Health & Social Care. Facilities include life-like hospital wards, a clinical skills suite, sports science labs and our [EN]GAGE sports centre.
Our Sighthill campus was completely refurbished in 2011 and is situated to the west of the city centre. It’s home to two schools:
As befits a centre for science, our Sighthill campus boasts all the facilities required for group and independent study as well as technical research. It’s also home to our [EN]GAGE sports centre, where you can take part in a wide variety of sports, use the gym or attend one of the many regular fitness classes.
