Kenny Greenough

Kenny joined Edge Hill Sports Department in September 2008. Kenny has experience both coaching and playing at a variety of levels; professional, semi-professional, university and collegiate standard working with football players within the specific ages 16-21 years. Kenny also educated youth players within the Professional Football League helping them to gain additional educational awards (BTEC: First Diploma – L2; National Award/ Certificate/ Diploma – L3) and FA Coaching qualifications (Levels 1 and 2). Kenny is interested in improving the quality of both players and coaches at the respective ages and levels noted above.

Fitting with Kenny’s proficiency as a coaching practitioner, he is also a Coach Educator with the English FA. Kenny is helping to develop those coaches with the application to become involved in grassroots football right through to elite level performance. Kenny’s experience delivering across numerous educational levels as well as his practical expertise in a number of positions held seems to play to his strength when applying coaching theory and incorporating expected standards of coaching practice.
