Durham University’s Foundation Centre offers specially tailored multi-disciplinary study programmes to prepare students for degree level study. The Foundation Centre specialises in helping mature learners return to education and supporting students who are changing between academic fields. The Foundation Centre is an academic department that delivers courses to develop students’ learning skills and knowledge in preparation for degree level study primarily at Durham University.

The Foundation Centre teaches at both Durham City and Queen’s Campus and offers a choice of academic subjects and progression routes. This is an unofficial and informal site for the students and staff.
