De Montfort University Law
Leicester De Montfort Law School boasts an excellent reputation for teaching quality across a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional legal courses. Our student body consists of over 1,000 students of 76 nationalities making us a truly global school.
Students are taught in the state-of-the-art £35 million Hugh Aston Building, complete with its own mock courtroom and client interviewing room. The building also features an integrated law library and bookshop as well as a range of purpose built lecture theatres with capacities ranging from 50 to 250.
Our undergraduate courses are designed to develop practical professional skills, this is achieved by integrating activities such as mooting and client interviewing into course modules. The Law Clinic and Street Law projects also provide you with the opportunity to hone your skills and knowledge while the Careers Project focuses on enhancing your employability to potential employers.
Our Law Club provides students from local schools and colleges with the opportunity to learn about different aspects of law. Graduates of our LLB courses are also guaranteed a place on the Legal Practice course (subject to conditions). You can also read what our students have to say about studying at DMU or what some of our graduates are doing post graduation.
