De Montfort University KTP
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) is a government funded programme designed to help businesses improve their competitiveness, productivity and performance.
This is achieved by forming a Partnership between your business and De Montfort University (DMU), enabling you to access skills and expertise to help your business develop.
The KTP programme is widely regarded as the most successful grant-funding available to UK businesses today.

How it works
Companies often have innovative ideas but lack the expertise to make them happen. KTP provides the silution by transferring the required knowledge andskills from the university and establishing a new capability in the company.
The knowledge sought is embedded into the company through a project undertaken by a graduate (known as the Associate), recruited to specifically work on that project.
KTPs can vary in length from 18 months to three years depending on the needs of the business and the desired outcomes.
To qualify for funding, a KTP project must be of strategic importance to the company and require expertise from the university. Ideally, the project will be innovative, challenging and demonstrate commercial or social impact. Read more
