The BA (Hons) in Architecture offers uniquely crafted, integrated studies that develop emerging architectural designers. We orientate, inform and hone creative design abilities within the design studio, this is the focus of our teaching and learning. A series of carefully considered projects are set in a range of spatial, social and topographical situations from the smallest of artefacts to complex inhabited spaces and events.

Modules

Year 1: Covers the study of construction and technology, environmental studies, history and manual and computer-based representational techniques. Year 2: Develops these areas with an emphasis on the urban context. Year 3: Students engage with more complex problems and develop a personal approach to architecture.
